receives teachers, doctoral students and students enrolled in master 2. They find research documents, journals. The research library has equipment for access to the Internet via wifi and offers the loan service of micro-laptops.
It includes more than 2500 CD ROMs that contain nearly 170,000 documents in various specialties. From the book, to the thesis to the different types of documents the user can choose the documents that interest him and can consult them on the spot through dedicated PCs for electronic reading.
With a computer park of 50 units and a wireless network that covers the entire library, this center includes two rooms connected to the Internet via a dedicated link. It offers lap top lending services indoors for users who do not have microcomputers.
It also gives access to a rich electronic documentary base through the academic library "fimaktabati" a service that offers more than 12000 titles of scientific and technical works with updates and additions of new works.

The central library manages access to the National Online Documentation System (SNDL). It creates remote access accounts for end-of-course student communities and teachers not affiliated with laboratories.

In 2017, the central library launched the online bibliographic assistance service. It is a service that accompanies students and teachers in their bibliographic research. Requests for bibliographic advice or research are made via email or the Central Library's social media account. This service allows applicants for advice or bibliographies to receive the necessary primary documents.

The central library provides training for several categories of readers and users. These courses focus mainly on bibliographic research methodology, bibliographic citations, styles and standards, information retrieval techniques, SNDL training, bibliographic and documentary databases, scientific journals, predator editors , predatory journals, the categorization of scientific journals of national and international academic institutions. The categories concerned are mainly first-year students, master's, doctoral students and newly recruited teachers.
Some training courses:
-The central library participated in the various programs initiated by the central management of the university. Particular mention is made of the training of librarians of the main public reading libraries of several wilayas in the south and the highlands.
-The central library provided training as a pedagogical accompaniment for teachers recruited for 2016-2017, 2017-2018 and 2018-2019
