As part of the implementation of the Algerian Government’s policy to modernize public administration and strengthen digital transformation, and following Algeria’s accession to The Hague Convention of 5 October 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents, Ibn Khaldoun University of Tiaret

has established an Apostille Office.

The Office is primarily responsible for receiving and processing applications for the issuance of Apostilles for eligible university documents through an online procedure, replacing the traditional consular legalization process. This service ensures the prompt processing of applications and facilitates the use of Algerian university documents abroad in all States Parties to The Hague Convention.

The establishment of this Office forms part of the University’s commitment to improving the quality of university services and simplifying administrative procedures for students and graduates wishing to pursue further studies, employment opportunities, or administrative formalities abroad.

Ibn Khaldoun University of Tiaret also reminds applicants that Apostille stamps may be obtained from Tax Collection Offices or Algeria Post offices throughout the national territory.
